a. Explore the District’s rule making authority as it relates to properties owned by the District
b. Consider drafting a rule governing certain types of language used in Informed Consent paperwork by providers occupying properties owned by the District.
c. The provision of indigent medical care is a required element of rent according to the lease agreement allowing Cleveland Clinic to occupy the community owned hospital facility.
As such, it is appropriate for the District to consider, develop and implement a methodology to assess/audit Cleveland Clinic’s performance of this element of the rental requirement on behalf of the taxpayers of Indian River County.
